ABOUT MORGAN
Morgan Brandt is a photographer based in Reno, Nevada, whose work navigates the emotional landscapes of the human experience. Drawing inspiration from personal narratives, fleeting expressions, and the stillness of ordinary life, her images seek to uncover meaning in moments often overlooked. Whether capturing quiet vulnerability or the weight of resilience, Brandt uses photography as a means to explore universal themes such as grief, growth, memory, and survival.
Originally from Northern Nevada, Brandt’s artistic journey began as a way to process her own experiences. Over time, it evolved into a deeper exploration of the ways people carry their stories. Her work is characterized by a moody, atmospheric aesthetic, with an intuitive approach that prioritizes connection over perfection.
She is currently pursuing an Associate of Fine Arts degree at Truckee Meadows Community College, where she has been recognized for both academic and artistic achievement. She is a recipient of several scholarships, including the Tackett Family Scholarship and the Nevada Millennium Scholarship. Brandt’s work has been featured in multiple group exhibitions, including the TMCC Annual Student Art Show (2021, 2024, and 2025) and the 2025 Sierra Arts Foundation Annual Halloween Show.
Brandt is expected to graduate in 2026 and plans to continue her education in fine art photography. As she expands her portfolio, she remains committed to creating work that is emotionally honest and visually compelling, images that resonate beyond the frame.
